As part of a regular weekly series, Katherine and I will be having Guest Writer appearances on Linux Advocates.

Matt Asay, Technology Journalist
We are pleased to announce 'heavy hitter' Matt Asay, VP of 10Gen Corporate Strategy, Technology Journalist, has kindly and graciously accepted my invitation to write and will be making a 'Guest Writer' appearance this coming week.

From his 10gen biography:

"Before 10gen, Matt was Vice President of Business Development at Nodeable (acquired by Appcelerator), a provider of real-time data stream processing for big data applications, and also at Strobe (acquired by Facebook). He was Chief Operating Officer at Canonical, ran the Americas for Alfresco and founded the Open Source Business Conference. Matt writes regular column for ReadWrite and The Register. On behalf of Katherine Noyes, myself, and staff, I would like to extend a special thank you to Matt for donating his time to Linux Advocates.  --Dietrich
